Sara Austin has nearly 10 years of paralegal experience with a concentration in employment law for both plaintiff and defense clients. During her employment with Wilentz Goldman & Spitzer from 1997-2001, Ms. Austin specialized in evaluation of potential employment claims, preparation of pleadings and discovery, litigation case management and trial preparation. In addition to her paralegal responsibilities, she also provided firm training in Summation and LiveNote software, edited The Network, a monthly newsletter for the NJ chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA-NJ) and presented seminars on behalf of the Institute for Paralegal Education on such topics as Essential Litigation Skills, Advanced Case Management, Trial Strategies and Effective Legal Writing. Since 2001, Ms. Austin has worked from home as an independent contractor paralegal in the same capacity as her prior full-time position. Ms. Austin is a 1993 graduate of Rutgers Preparatory School in Somerset, NJ. In 1997 she graduated magna cum laude from Immaculata College with a BA in Written Communication.
