Sara Austin, Paralegal
Ms. Austin has over 10 years of paralegal experience with a concentration in employment law for both plaintiff and defense clients. During her employment with Wilentz Goldman & Spitzer from 1997-2001, Ms. Austin specialized in evaluation of potential employment claims, preparation of pleadings and discovery, litigation case management and trial preparation. In addition to her paralegal responsibilities, she also provided firm training in Summation and LiveNote software, edited The Network, a monthly newsletter for the New Jersey chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association(NELA-NJ) and presented seminars on behalf of the Institute for Paralegal Education on such topics as Essential Litigation Skills, Advanced Case Management, Trial Strategies and Effective Legal Writing.
From 2001-2008, Ms. Austin worked part-time as a paralegal for multiple clients in the same capacity as her prior full-time position. She has been employed as a paralegal with Ms. Branigan since 2008.
In addition to her legal employment, Ms. Austin is employed as an Instructional Aide at Parkview School in Milltown, NJ. She is also active in her community and serves as a CCD Teacher at Our Lady of Lourdes in Milltown and as a Girl Scout Leader in the South River/Milltown Service Unit.
Ms. Austin is a 1993 graduate of Rutgers Preparatory School in Somerset, New Jersey. In 1997 she graduated magna cum laude from Immaculata College with a BA in Written Communication.
Ms. Austin resides in New Jersey with her husband and their two daughters.
